Water Testing
Water TestingMDPE and HPPE pipes expand and contract like no other pipe material. The expansion of the pipe as a pressure vessel and the relaxing of the pipe material can be measured. Since 1998 Young have been testing with data loggers, pressure transducers and computerized analysis of the only approved Method of testing, as endorsed by the WRC.
We test all our polyethylene water mains this way and offer the service to other installers.
Chlorination
Young offer a full tu-key package to supply, install, test and commission all mains.
Our sterilization is carried out to BS 6700 and samples taken are analyzed by independent laboratories.
