Our Staff
All site staff at Young carry a CSCS operative or supervisor card . Our personnel are widely experienced in the use of polyethylene fusion welding techniques, ductile iron and conventional welded steel installations.

Our Setup
We operate from our own premises in Hockley, Birmingham, which consists of a two story office block, open yard/stores area (for storage of pipe and plant) and a fabrication workshop where we carry out off site welding works. Our welders are coded and approved to British Gas Standard PS/PI.

We own most of our own plant and transport which includes trench excavators, road compressors, rollers etc. as well as butt fusion/electrofusion welders up to 315mm, arc welding generators, pipe threaders and the Aqua Gas PEART 150 as well as all the other tools that are necessary to carry out our core business.
